Marche Funèbre movement from Chopin’s Piano Sonata in B-Flat Minor, Op. 35, arranged by Franchomme for cello quartet. Franchomme made several arrangements of this piece, including one of the entire sonata for orchestra (now lost). This cello quartet arrangement was not published during his lifetime; Ms. Dubin has transcribed a modern performance edition from the manuscript score, dating from the third quarter of the 19th Century.
